Reiki shares
A great opportunity for Reiki practitioners and new to Reiki alise, Reiki shares provide an important opportunity to practise using Reiki on others in a supportive environment, learn from others, and also to receive a treatment yourself – mmm! Our Reiki shares in Glasgow run twice a month and attract a wide range of lovely people from different backgrounds, so you’ll also get a chance to meet new people and talk about your Reiki and life experiences. These are through the Glasgow Reiki Meetup group, which is a community itself.
Sunday afternoon Reiki shares
Our Sunday Reiki shares have been running since the autumn of 2008 and have a loyal following. These run at Yoga Glasgow at the Movement Studio, 10 Claremont Terrace, near Kelvingrove Park at the corner of Clifton Street. We have an optional hour of Japanese meditation and empowments followed by two hours of sharing Reiki in groups of 3-4 around a Reiki table. There’s also time to chat over a cup of tea and often to go to An Clachan cafe in Kelvingrove Park around the corner for a coffee afterwards. Sunday shares include Japanese Meditation Hour 12.30-1.30 and Reiki Share 1.30-3.30. These shares are open to people just trying Reiki as well as trained practitioners. They are usually on the third Sunday of the month, but please check the Meetup site to confirm.
Weekday Reiki shares
To meet demand from people who couldn’t come to the Sunday shares, we have now introduced weekday shares, including the energy-boosting Japanese Meditation Hour. The Japanese Mediation Hour runs 10.30-11.30, and is followed by the share 11.30-1.30 To book, see the Glasgow Reiki Meetup site. These take place at Light on the Path and feature sitting treatments in pairs, followed by snacks and a chance to chat with fellow Reiki people. These shares are open to people just trying Reiki as well as trained practitioners. These tend to be on the first Wednesday of the month.
Reiki Master Shares
These monthly shares offer Masters (practitioner or teacher)the chance to get together to exchange expriences and to build up energy through empowerments and attunements. We also get tastes of Karuna Reiki energy (with an increasing number of Karuna practioners and Masters among the group), and learn new tools. TheReiki Master shares run 6-9 pm on a Friday night with nibbles provided. Book through the Meetup site and pay either by paypal or cash on the night. Most Reiki Master shares are the fourth Friday of the month, but check the Glasgow Reiki Meetup site to be sure.
Prices and booking
We charge £5 for the shares and £5 for the Japanese meditation and empowerment hour. If you are on benefits and come to Japanese meditation and empowerment hour, you can pay £5 in total by prior arrangement. Payment on Sundays is in cash on the day, for weekday shares, you can pay by paypal through the meetup site. The Reiki Master share is £15 including food, and you pay by paypal through the meetup site.
We also have partners who run three evening shares a month – in Linwood, Stepps and Shawlands. Find the best share for you and enjoy!
To book any of the shares, you need to sign up to Meetup.com and then you will receive notices of when the shares are happening and who’s coming, and you can rsvp through the site.
On the meetup site, you can also read reviews of people’s experiences of the shares and ask questions of other participants. See you at a share soon!
Hi there,
Can you tell me how you managed to get your website onto Google searches please?
Love and light,
Glenn
Hi there! Very sorry that I didn’t write back to you before! I looked at your website and then got side-tracked. I would say two things help – I pay BT Customer Street for my other site – reikicoursesglasgow.com, which has a key phrase domain, which is helpful to getting high rankings, and they also give you SEO guidance within their site builder software. For my lightonthepath site, I’ve got the All in One SEO plug-in, which seems to help. I think if you have social media plugins on your site, that should boost your rankings as well if it shows activity. Updating your site regularly with new dates, offers, blogs, etc also helps. Good luck!
Hi Sab,
Just to say I can’t figure out a way to pay £88 for RMT, using paypal, could you advise how to do it?
Thanks,
Sandra
