Karuna Reiki® courses
Why Karuna Reiki?®
Karuna Reiki® is one of the strongest delights of the Reiki world, in my experience – which is saying something, because there are a lot of delights with Reiki! It takes healing and development to a whole new level, making you feel really looked after, really loved, really healed, really connected to what you’re really meant to be doing in this life – and to all the help you will need. It means compassion in action and you can really feel that… can you feel it?
Developed by the International Centre for Reiki Training, Karuna Reiki® is a higher frequency form of Reiki than Usui Reiki Master level. It includes 8 symbols in Levels 1 & 2 and more at Karuna Reiki® Master Level. The first of these helps to clear out issues – without the emotions of a healing crisis. The third nourishes your heart and makes life feel good. Others connect you to peace, oneness, clarity for studying, and dynamism and manifestation.
Overall, Karuna Reiki®is a stronger, very loving, beautiful and helpful energy. Reiki colleague Jess Jourdan explains her experience of Karuna.
I think Karuna Reiki is very well defined by its meaning “Love and compassion in action”. Karuna makes you feel good. It acts like a gentle yet energetic wake up call and pushes you, quite literally in my case, to act towards becoming who you are. It’s a beautiful Reiki with very useful symbols and Kwan Yin is a very loving master. – Jess Jourdan, Usui and Karuna Reiki Master
What do I need to do Karuna Reiki?®
To do Karuna Reiki® Levels 1 & 2 you need to at least be a Usui Reiki Master Practitioner, and to take the Karuna Reiki® Master course you need to already be a Usui Reiki Master. This allows your energy system to take in the higher frequency energy of Karuna Reiki® and make the most of it. Being a Master Teacher gives you a foundation for learning the attunements, which are similar to the Usui Reiki ones, but a bit different. You should generally have been at Usui Master level for at least six months before moving on to Karuna Reiki®. Most importantly, you need to have an interest in growing in compassion and growing yourself

What you can do after the course
The energy from the Karuna Reiki® course is powerful not only for healing other people you might work with, but in also helping you to release old blockages so that your own life can move forward in positive ways you have been longing for, as well as taking forward dreams you might not have even realised before.
With the Karuna Reiki® course, you will feel life opening up for you, and you will be able to help others to feel a similar energy. You will be able to help others and yourself to clear old issues, including issues that may lie behind mental health problems, addictions or relationship problems. And you don’t even have to know what those issues are. You can help yourself and others to develop healthy new habits, feel more loved, loving and at peace, help with concentration and studying, and help manifest opportunities.
If you do the Karuna Reiki® Master level, you will be able to register with ICRT to teach Karuna Reiki® to other Reiki Masters, so they too can transform their lives.
From the start of the course, you will also be invited to join our Karuna People group on Facebook to share experiences, tips and help each other out. A very lovely group indeed, as you can imagine.
